On 17 September 2026, the Team Lead, Strategy Solutions, delivered a session on Emotional Intelligence and Effective Leadership (EI & EL) at a workshop organized by the Institute of Strategic Management of Nigeria (Chartered), in collaboration with the Nigeria Immigration Service. The Comptroller General's office was represented by ACG SU Agba, ACG-in-Charge of Human Resource Management.

The session's core argument: emotional intelligence isn't separate from effective leadership — it's the mechanism that makes it possible. A leader's influence is measured in team performance, goal attainment, relationship quality, and long-term impact, and each depends on self-awareness, composure, and empathy. For officers who represent Nigeria to every traveler they meet, that isn't theory — it's the job.
